Well, this is another first ...
off skiing to 100 Mile House in central bc with julie, doug, chorizo and taking the place of frank, snoopy (a very robust yet 'amorous' 12 year old corgy/jack russel cross that we were babysitting for the weekend) ...
we rented a baby ski-sled for the day and while the conditions were rather tepid (perhaps we would have been better off with a waterski-set-up) ...
in the end it was ok as the temperature was dropping enough such that the snow cooled down and we were able to ski alot quicker
at least doug got a good thigh work-out and
julie spervised/nagged/heckled from the rear
